Love going to this small swap meet! Is one of my husbands favorite! To start, it is small, but each vendor has different things. You can find tools, toys, antique items, and things for your pets, etc. and it depends on what you are looking for. Remember, most of the items are used but in good condition. Exam: line clothes And some are new and you can beat some prices. food( I like the consome) very good!
I've been putting off this review for a long time because I don't want anyone discovering this little gem. After leaving Buena Park about ten years ago where I was a faithful shopper at the Cypress Swapmeet I was super lucky to find they had started a swapmeet at California High School (which is within walking distance of where I live now).
It started off small with only a handful of loyal vendors (some vendors would come and go but a small group have been there since the beginning). Unfortunately, the pandemic hit them hard and they shut down for two years. When it returned, it was every other Sunday but now it's back in full swing and it has expanded! More vendors are becoming regulars (although some never returned post pandemic) and the entire parking lot is now occupied with the exception of the handicap spaces. This is the only drawback as street parking is limited and mostly in residential areas. Regardless, I've always been able to find parking, even if I have to walk a little.
I've found that prices here are lower than at the bigger swapmeets (SFS and Cypress) but you won't find bigger brands as easily. I've been lucky enough to find some Lululemon, GAP, aerie and, more recently, a lot of Fabletics, but many vendors still come and go and each week can be different. I like that it's free to get in, small enough to walk the whole thing no problem, but I do wish there was more consistency with the vendors and a better parking situation.
Open most Sundays technically until 3pm but many stalls start packing up by around 2pm. Most locations here are cash only so come prepared. Always an interesting assortment of goods on display along with some food and beverage options.
There’s a couple who sell tamales 🫔 out of their car best tamales I ate.get there early they sell out by 8 am. Green tamales are 🌶,red, cheese, they start about 6am …
Yesterday was the first time selling here. I can honestly say my wife and I really appreciated the diverse selection of vendors their is here. There's a little bit of everything for everyone! We are happy to say we will be selling again this Sunday, March 31st on space D16, and many more sundays to come!
I actually sale there at the market place at cal hi. Great crowd. Allot of buyers. It went great today. Made some good money, but it's back to the grind now.
Nice neighborhood for a Flea Market. The vendors are very nice, friendly, not pushy for sales. Very relaxed environment. That was my boyfriend's & my 1st time coming here. We both found a few things to purchase, such as children's books, comics, & Disney toys. If you like garage sales & swap meets, with used, secondhand merch, etc., you'll like it here. Lots of fun looking for treasures. If you're shopping for toys, furniture, books, clothing, pottery, tools, wheelchairs, seasonal decor, etc, you'll enjoy your experience here. Great, low prices everywhere. Happy Hunting! Happy Haunting! Next day open, 10/30/22.
Fun fun fun!! and you will save a lot of money 💰 …
